About Our Repair Services
At TUMI, we pride ourselves on exceeding expectations with superior quality and technical innovation. We stand behind every product we make. If you encounter any issues with your TUMI product, we encourage you to visit your nearest TUMI retail store for a complimentary repair evaluation. Simple fixes may even be made on site. We train associates to perform select repairs in store, significantly reducing the time you are separated from your item.
If visiting a store isn’t convenient, you can also submit a repair request online to send your product to one of our repair centers. Once your repair is processed, you will receive an email with further details and instructions. Depending on your location, the complete repair process, including shipping, typically takes 2-4 weeks.
Important Notes:

Accessories: Accessories are not eligible for repair and will be replaced only if under warranty.
International Repairs: The repair request form can be submitted online or at a local TUMI store and must be serviced in the country where the request is made.
How to Initiate TUMI Repair Services
Find Your Nearest Store: To locate your nearest TUMI-operated store and view services provided at a specific location, please use our Store Finder.
Schedule an In-Store Appointment: To schedule an in-store appointment, please visit the TUMI Store Appointments page. This will allow you to choose a convenient time to visit and receive a personalized repair evaluation from our team.
Submit an Online Repair Request: You may submit an online repair request form by signing into or creating an account in the Manage Repairs section.
Warranty Repairs
At TUMI, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our products. Once we’ve confirmed your products under warranty, you are eligible for complimentary repairs on structural and functional damage, functional failure resulting from manufacturing defects, workmanship issues, and wear and tear damage (excluding aesthetical damage). We’ll repair almost any item that is damaged due to defective materials or workmanship.
Please visit your nearest TUMI retail store for a complimentary repair evaluation. If your product requires further evaluation, is more than one year old, under warranty and accompanied by proof of purchase, we will cover the shipping costs to and from our repair facility.
In rare instances where certain items cannot be repaired, we are pleased to offer you a replacement. If the original product is no longer available, you may select a similar style. If a new style exceeds the cost of the original item, you will be responsible for the difference. If the new style costs less, you will receive a gift card for the remaining balance to be used in store or through customer service.
Out-of-Warranty Repair Services
At TUMI, we understand that your products are an investment, and we are committed to helping you maintain them even beyond the warranty period.
Repair and Refurbishment:
TUMI products outside of warranty may still be eligible for repairs and refurbishment beyond the first five years of ownership.
Please visit your nearest TUMI retail store for a complimentary repair evaluation, and possible complimentary repairs in store.
If your product requires further evaluation at one of our repair centers, you will be responsible for the repair or refurbishment costs, as well as shipping and processing fees to and from our repair facility.
Non-Repairable Items:
Notification: Once at one of our repair facilities, if your product is out of beyond the term of warranty and deemed non-repairable, you will be notified via email.
Email Follow-Up: If you do not receive an email follow-up, please check your spam and junk folders.
Resolution: We request that you email service@tumi.com or call 800.299.TUMI (8864) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST us to reach a resolution once notification is received.
Check the Status of a Repair
If your product is being repaired in a TUMI store, our store staff will be in touch with you every step of the way.
If your product was sent to one of our repair facilities, our TUMI Repairs Department will keep you updated on the status of your repair via email. Please ensure you regularly check your inbox, including junk or spam folders, for any correspondence.
